Today’s photo from the hip is from Mike. He came across a “hip hop” photo shoot in the town square while visiting Tallinn, Estonia. They were doing a bit of break dancing too. I’m not sure what the fashion is like there, but I kind of hope this isn’t it. (Was that too mean?)

At the docks.

Today’s photo from the hip comes from Molly, who took a spontaneous trip to the Maldives in June. I must say, one of the best perks of living in Abu Dhabi is the location!

She took this photo while exploring the docks in Malé, the capital city. I like how this photo shows us a different side to the Maldives. It’s not all sandy white beaches!

She snapped this shot one evening outside of a theater while waiting for a play to begin. It looks like there’s some prime people watching in Madrid, Spain. Don’t you just love the curve of that man’s pipe?

Today’s photo from the hip comes from Naomi at Anywhere But Home. She’s currently on a crazy round the world trip with her next stop in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Naomi snapped this photo while at the Topkapi Palace in Instanbul. She intended to capture the tour group in the background, but ended up with this woman and her camera as her subject. I just love the look on that woman’s face.

Today’s photo from the hip comes from Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh. Molly and I were walking near the beach and noticed these haphazardly built homes. Not too far away were relatively fancy resorts and hotels. It really highlighted the range of living conditions in Bangladesh.

Today’s photo from the hip comes from Molly. She was out on a morning walk in Hoi An, Vietnam and quickly snapped this photo. It was only later that she realized what the little boy was doing. I can’t help it. This photo is hilarious to me.
