We want to send a “trial card” to make sure it gets to you before we send anything else (of great value, HA!). What are some of the things you can’t get over there that you miss?
Do you wear the headcovering often? I can’t imagine wearing that much black in such a hot area!
Debbie’s been eating the last of your spaghetti squash and she says she’s really been enjoying it. She’s tried it several different ways, and for breakfast, lunch and dinner. :0)
Hmmmm…. I’ll see what I can do! I know that talking about Christianity is not allowed, but do they celebrate Christmas (Santa Claus and Christmas trees)? I wonder if Christmas stockings would be insulting. Maybe “holiday stockings” would be acceptable.
Your dad saw a child’s map of North America that showed cities, states, etc. He wondered if you could use something like that in your classroom. It was just a bit larger than a placemat.

Well… I don’t think the school/parents would like it if I gave out stockings or holiday gifts. But, if you want to send on the goodies (as long as they aren’t holiday themed) I’d be happy to pass them along to the girls at an appropriate time. I’m sure we could find a use for a map! We don’t talk about the US too much, but the girls might like to see it. Thanks!
YESSSSS!!!
Let the letter writing begin!
I see no chubby cheeks! LOL!

We miss you!
I’ve only worn the head covering once, at the Mosque. It’s not necessary for Westerners otherwise.
I’d love some Ticonderoga brand pencils for my students! And any stickers!

Stockings are ok! Most of the shops decorate for Christmas and I heard a Christmas song playing at the supermarket today.
How many students do you have, Jill? Are they all girls?
19, all girls.
I want to send “your girls” a small stocking with a few goodies. Would that be appropriate there?
